CAN revoke decision against players

Kathmandu: An agreement has been reached between the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and the disgruntled players. As per the agreement reached on Sunday, the action taken by CAN against Gyanendra Malla, vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airy, Kamal Singh Airy and Sompal Kami will also be withdrawn. This decision has to pass by the board meeting of CAN.

Earlier expressing dissatisfaction with CAN’s player classification, CAN had removed captain Gyanendra Malla and given the responsibility to Sandeep Lamichhane. Similarly, it was decided to keep four persons without grade for six months.

CAN has decided to change captains and withdraw action after the controversy affected international competition. After today’s agreement, closed training will start from tomorrow.
