Kathmandu: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has prepared to send Sandeep Lamichhane to play the remaining matches of the ongoing tri-nation series in UAE under the ICC World Cup League 2.
Sandeep has already received his visa, thus CAN is preparing to send Lamichhane today only.
Sandeep, accused of raping a minor, was released on bail by the High Court but was not allowed to go abroad. So Sandeep could not go to UAE.
But after the Supreme Court overturned the order of the High Court last Monday and allowed Sandeep to go abroad, CAN is going to send him to the UAE.
Nepal is playing against home team UAE on Thursday and Papua New Guinea on Friday and Monday.
