Kathmandu: Cricket Association Nepal (CAN) has officially released its annual fixture schedule, unveiling a series of national and international competitions slated for the year 2024. The announcement was made during a press conference held in Kathmandu today.
According to the revealed schedule, Nepal is set to participate in various tournaments, including the ICC World Cup League-2, T20 series, and One-Day Internationals (ODIs). Notably, Nepal is scheduled to engage in a three-match ODI series against Canada from February 10 to 14.
Furthermore, from February 27 to March 5, Nepal is poised to compete in a Tri-Nation T20 series involving Namibia and the Netherlands. All matches of these tournaments are scheduled to take place in Nepal.
In addition to the international commitments, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka mentioned that Nepal will host the Nepal Premier League Cricket Tournament in March. He also highlighted that if any country expresses interest in playing against Nepal, their fixtures will be included in the schedule.
The release of the annual fixture schedule reflects the proactive approach of the Nepal Cricket Team in planning and participating in various competitions, emphasizing the team’s commitment to cricket development and promotion.
