CAAN requests not to fly kites, drains, and balloons across the airport

Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has requested not to fly kites, drones, balloons etc. in the vicinity of Tribhuvan International Airport.

The Airport Civil Aviation Office issued a notice today, requesting people to be aware that kites, drones, and balloons are often being flown during flights and landings, and this may have a serious impact on flight safety.

Everyone concerned has been informed through a notice that kites, drones, balloons, and laser lights pose a risk to flight safety and not to do such activities.

In addition, the authority has warned that strict action will be taken in accordance with the law if such acts are done indiscriminately.
