Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has increased shooting charge inside the Tribhuvan International Airport. There has been an increase of Rs 5,000 in the fee for shooting movies inside the international airport in Nepal.
The CAAN has implemented the Airport Service Fee Regulations. According to this regulation, there has been an increase of 5 thousand rupees in the film shooting fee compared to the previous one.
According to the authority, now for shooting a film, video film, documentary, etc. inside the international airport, the filmmaker has to pay 15,000 rupees for a period of 6 hours.
Earlier, such fee was only 10,000 rupees. On the other hand, a service fee of 7,000 rupees has to be paid when filming at the domestic airport.
In the past, such charges were only 5 thousand rupees.
