Kathmadnu: President Biden tripped and fell at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony Thursday immediately after delivering the commencement speech.
The 80-year-old commander-in-chief was helped to his feet by two Secret Service agents and an Air Force officer. Biden appeared to point back at something on stage after he was helped up, as reported by the New York Daily News.
At 80, Biden is the oldest person ever to serve as U.S. president. He has now taken three high-profile tumbles during his time in office.
In May 2021, he tripped multiple times while boarding Air Force One. In June 2022, he fell off his bike while coming to a stop during a visit to his home state of Delaware.
As in those previous incidents, Biden attempted to downplay the stumble. He walked off stage with no assistance and sat back down in his chair.
