Kathmandu: Application fees for US visas have increased. The application fee has been increased with effect from June 17.
According to the US Embassy in Nepal, the application fee for visit visas and other non-immigrant visas that are not petition-based will be increased from $160 to $185.
Petition-based visa fees will increase from $190 to $205. According to the embassy, e-visa application fees will increase from $205 to $315.
The embassy also informed that the visa fees are determined based on the results of the annual study on the cost of services.
