Kathmandu: Apple plans to close Apple’s retail stores in California and London. Apple is closing its stores in markets affected by the rapid rise in Corona virus infections.
The day after the decision to close Apple stores in the Los Angeles area, Apple announced on its website that it would close all 53 stores in the Golden State area of California.
Apple stores in the San Francisco area will also be closed. Also, Silicon Valley office retail stores will be closed. Apple has not set a date for the opening of these Apple stores.
In recent weeks, the state of California has become the epicenter of the corona virus epidemic. The number of corona virus infections reached 1.8 million on Saturday, with more than 22,000 deaths.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced a new phase of lockdown in London and southeastern England. Apple Corps has announced that it will close its stores in London, following a sharp rise in coronavirus infections in the region.
