Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 5,292 people have been confirmed infected with the corona virus (Covid-19) while eight have died of the virus infection.
According to the Ministry of Health, 3,472 people tested positive out of 10,368 PCR samples while 1,820 people tested positive out of 5,720 antigen samples.
At present, 79,272 people are actively infected across the country as 8,191 people recovered today.
According to the ministry, 77,665 people are currently in home isolation and 1,607 are in institutional isolation across the country.
