Ani Chyoing appointed WWF goodwill ambassador

Kathmandu (Rashtriya Samachar Samiti): Spiritual singer and conservationist Ani Choying Dolma has been appointed Goodwill Ambassador of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

WWF Nepal has appointed singer Ani Choying as its Goodwill Ambassador with the aim of promoting Eastern culture and civilization in reducing and protecting the growing environmental problem globally. The organization, which has facilities in more than 100 countries around the world, has recently appointed Annie Choi as Goodwill Ambassador and launched a global campaign on Nepal’s efforts to protect the environment and Nepal’s actions.

Although WWF Nepal has selected various personalities as campaign ambassadors in various campaigns in the past, for the first time it has announced a goodwill ambassador and is launching a conservation campaign globally.

As it is necessary to expand spiritual and religious values ​​and beliefs for balanced development, Ani Choying, who has been active in this campaign for a long time, has been appointed as Goodwill Ambassador, Ghanashyam Gurung informed.

He expressed the belief that Ani Choying would play an active role in promoting the teachings of Lord Gautam Buddha on peace, ending social discrimination and promoting development and environment in a balanced manner.

Stating that the main need today is to prevent environmental degradation in the name of modernity and to make the beautiful earth handed over to future generations by conserving natural resources, Goodwill Ambassador Ani Choying said, “It is my love for nature and culture that has inspired me to take up this campaign. I have been given additional responsibility to raise public awareness for a secure future at the national and international level.
