Kathmandu: Wishing for peace in Ukraine, ambassadors of various countries including the United States have lit candles at Bouddhanath in Kathmandu.
As Russia continues its attack on Ukraine, ambassadors of various countries to Nepal have lit candles wishing peace.
US Ambassador Randy Berry, ambassadors from Germany, France, Switzerland and Finland also arrived in Bouddhanath on Thursday evening to light a candle.
Russia and Ukraine have been at war for the past eight days.
