Kathmandu: Domestic airline operators have threaten to halt flights from Friday.

The association has warned that all domestic flights will be shut down if the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) forces to operate flights after 8 pm.

The authority had written a letter to the domestic airlines operating regular flights on Wednesday informing them of the new flight schedule.

However, there are technical problems in implementing the flight as per the schedule, said Yograj Kandel, spokesperson of the airline operators’ association of Nepal (AOAN). According to Kandel, it is not possible to implement regular flights after 8 pm now.

According to the association, the decision of CAAN is not possible to implement.

According to a statement issued by the association, the airlines will not be able to fly according to the new slot and the entire flight will be postponed until the amendment is made.
