Additional budget of Rs 1.41 billion for 41 hospitals to add ICUs and ventilators

Kathmandu: The government has started sending budgets to other hospitals for special treatment equipment after the hospital’s budget was criticized for focusing only on accessible leaders and ministers’ home districts.

The Ministry of Finance has agreed to provide a budget of Rs 1.41 billion for 41 hospitals to provide additional pediatric ICUs and ICU ventilators for the treatment of critically ill children due to COVID-19.

As demanded by the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Finance has been ensuring budget for the prevention, treatment and control of COVID-19.
