Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to appoint a ‘Food Inspector’ to monitor the quality of food items.
The executive meeting of the metropolitan city has decided to hire five food inspectors on contract.
They will monitor the quality of food made in the hotel restaurant, vegetable shop, meat shops among others.
The KMC has also announced that it will hire five people who have completed a master’s degree in food technology.
