Kathmandu: A task force has been formed under the direction of Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Sher Bahadur Kunwar for the convenience of Nepali workers undergoing treatment in various hospitals abroad.
A task force has been formed to understand the situation of Nepalis who are seriously injured or ill and receiving intensive treatment in hospitals while they are working in different countries.
The coordinator of this three-member taskforce is the head of the employment management division of the ministry and the joint secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the executive director of the Foreign Employment Board are among the members.
The committee will prepare integrated statistics of workers who have gone abroad for intensive treatment, identify ways to rescue them and return them to the country, manage simple and effective treatment after bringing them back to the country.
