Kathmandu: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has arrived in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon for a three-day visit.
The high-level delegation arrived in Kathmandu from New Delhi, India and was welcomed at the Tribhuvan International Airport by Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Poudyal.
On the second day of the visit, the External Affairs Minister is scheduled to go hiking in Shivpuri on Saturday morning.
After that, he will meet Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka at Singha Durbar. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there is a program to sign bilateral agreements between Nepal and China on various issues during the meeting.
Afterwards, Wang Yi will hold talks with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. On Sunday morning, Wang Yi is scheduled to meet President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas.
During the three-day visit, he will also meet top leaders of political parties.
