UML addressing its 10th National General Convention today

Kathmandu: The tenth national general convention of the CPN-UML is starting in Chitwan from today.
The inauguration ceremony of the General Convention is being held on the banks of Narayani River in Narayangarh and closed session at Sauraha.
UML, which has already held its Legislative General Convention in Godavari, Lalitpur, will now elect a new leadership for the next five years from the Chitwan General Convention.
CPN (UML) has stated that the convention will be inaugurated in the afternoon. Processions will start from different places before the inauguration. The procession will reach the Narayani river bank and turn into an inaugural meeting. UML has claimed that 500,000 people will attend the inauguration ceremony.
