Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 785 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, among 7,233 PCR tests 663 people tested positive and among 4,962 antigen tests 122 people tested positive.
In the last 24 hours, 12 people have died and 888 have recovered from the corona infection.
With the addition on Friday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 82,861. At the same time, the number of deaths in Nepal has reached 11,243 and 776,831 people have been cleared of infections.
According to the ministry, the number of active infected people in the country is 34,787. Out of which 13,622 are in home isolation and 1,165 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 314 are being treated in the ICU and 111 in the ventilator. Similarly, 231 people are in quarantine.
