Kathmandu: The Chitwan Tigers defeated Kathmandu Kings XI by three wickets in the Everest Premier League (EPL) T20 Cricket. Chitwan lost seven wickets and met the target of 142 runs set by Kathmandu at the TRI Cricket Ground with eight balls to spare.
Rajesh Pulami top-scored for Chitwan with 26 runs while Dilip Nath and Kamal Singh Airy scored 23 runs each. Kathmandu’s Jitendra Mukhiya and Ryan Burle took two wickets each.
Earlier, losing the toss and batting first, Kathmandu lost eight wickets in 20 overs and scored 141 runs.
With today’s victory, Chitwan has reached the top spot with four points while Kathmandu is in the fourth position with two points.
Bhairahawa Gladiators and Lalitpur Patriots are currently playing in the EPL.
