Kathmandu: A total of 800,000 doses vaccine against corona have arrived to Nepal from China. The vaccine was brought to Kathmandu from the Chinese capital Beijing by a widebody aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation.
The plane that took off from Nepal at 11 pm on Wednesday landed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 2:07 pm on Thursday. Earlier, the first batch of vaccines had arrived in Nepal from China on July 9.
This is the vaccine that Nepal bought from China.
The aircraft has been departed to China to bring more vaccines. The aircraft will arrive in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon. The aircraft is scheduled to return to Beijing on Saturday that will arrive in Kathmandu on Sunday with additional vaccinations.
Nepal has purchased a total of four million doses of vaccine from China.
