Kathmandu: There will now be a total of six flights a year from Kathmandu to New Delhi, India. At present, there are two flights a year to New Delhi, India. According toNepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), flights will now be operated from Kathmandu to New Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Air India will schedule flights from India. Earlier, the fare in New Delhi was very expensive as there were only two flights a year and seats were not available. The corporation has stated that the increased flight will be implemented only from July 24.
The flight is being operated as per the air bubble agreement between Nepal and India. Nepal had proposed to add flights to the agreement.
The number of flights has increased since the proposal was approved. According to Nepal Airlines, there is no possibility of immediate flights to Bangalore and Mumbai in India.
