Kathmandu: The government has also started regular flights to South Korea and China. Earlier, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) had not issued a schedule as the airlines in these two countries had not sought permission.
According to the latest schedule made public by CAAN, there will be one flight to South Korea every Wednesday. This flight is authorized by Korean Air. In China, flights will be operated to Chengdu and Guangzhou.
An Air China flight from Chhengdu is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu every Sunday. China Southern is allowed to fly to Guangzhou every Tuesday.
In addition, there will be 24 flights to Nepal every week. This schedule is for the month of July. The government has opened regular flights to India, Qatar, UAE, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan, Oman, South Korea and China.
