Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Metropolitan city (KMC) has requested the citizens to contact for free service as ambulances are being prepared at five places of Kathmandu district.
The KMC has stated that two ambulances are being prepared at the National Assembly House for the patients of Dilli Bazaar, Maiti Devi, Kamal Pokhari, Putalisadak, Thapathali, Tripureshwor, Teku, New Road, Jamal, Babarmahal, Nardevi, Veer Hospital, Durbar Marg, Bagbazar and Thamel.
Similarly, for the residents of Boudha, Jorpati, Gaushala, Purano Baneshwor, Ratopul, Kalapul, Bhatkeko Pul, Gopi Krishna, Sukedhara ambulance has arranged at Chabahil.
Similarly, for places like Banasthali, Balaju, Machhapokhari, Bus Park, Nayabazar, Sohrakhutte, Lanchaur, Lazimpat, Gongbu, Baluwatar, Teaching, Chakrapath, Basundhara, Kanti Hospital, Maharajgunj and Pepsicola, Jadibuti, Koteshwar, Tinkune, Gaihrigan, , Shantinagar, Bhimsengola and other places have urged the residents to contact the ambulance parked at Min Bhawan.
The metropolis has started free ambulance service for patients other than Corona to travel from home to hospital and from hospital to home and from one hospital to another. Mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Bidhya Sundar Shakya informed that the ambulance service was operated keeping in mind the problem of patients not getting vehicles during the prohibitory order.
