Kathmandu (Rashtriya Samachar Samiti): Universities of Nepal and Oman have agreed to cooperate.
According to the Nepali Embassy in Muscat, Nepal’s Ambassador to Oman Sharmila Parajuli and Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University Dr. Fahad Alzulanda Al Saidi met in her office and agreed to start cooperation in the field of agriculture and tourism.
It is also said that there is an agreement to hold regular discussions for further cooperation in research and academic issues.
Also present on the occasion were Mona Fahad Al Sayedee, Assistant Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation of the University, Fatmaal Khujairi, Deputy Director of the Office for International Cooperation and Somesh Thapa, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Nepal.
