Kathmandu: Province 1 and Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA) has reached an agreement on Tuesday with the announcement to move ahead with the development projects put forward by the provincial government.
The agreement was reached at a program organized at the Chief Minister’s Office in Biratnagar.
In the agreement, the director of the public-private partnership and investment authority made by the province government, Saroj Koirala and Ram Krishna Khatiwada, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited have signed the agreement.
As per the agreement between the government authority and the bank, there will be financial and technical cooperation for the development of the infrastructure sector of Province 1 through public-private partnership.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Planning Commission Subodh Pyakurel and others.
