Kathmandu: Civic activist Dr. Govinda KC has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is a dictator. Speaking at a press conference at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu on Thursday, he said, “KP Oli is a dictator. He should be thrown out by the people.”
He also said that the constitutional body is being tested after the dissolution of the parliament. “Right now, the integrity of the Supreme Court is being tested. They will dissolve the parliament,” KC said. “Oli is a king without crown. He is the killer of the constitution.”
KC has declared a hunger strike from February 25 demanding three points. He called for the protection of the constitution from attempts to dissolve parliament, the cancellation of recent appointments to constitutional bodies, and the implementation of agreements reached during past hunger strikes to improve medical education and health.
He also demanded to make medical education non-profit, implement 75 percent scholarship in all public educational institutions and implement the provisions of the National Medical Education Act. KC has said that if the demand is not met, the hunger strike will start from any place in 77 districts.
