Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali said Nepal’s message to India and China would be “we want to move forward together”.
Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringala is in Kathmandu while the Chinese Defense Minister is coming on Sunday. The question was whether the parliamentary hearing committee was trying to play the Indian or Chinese card.
In response, Foreign Minister Gyawali denied the allegations. He said, ‘Will India be a friendly country where a country like Nepal plays cards? Will there be three allies? Probably not. ‘
Stating that China is a global power and India is also coming forward as a global power, Minister Gyawali said that Nepal will not play cards.
He said that there was no other interest besides developing good relations with both the neighbors and benefiting from the economic development of both the countries.
Minister Gyawali said that Nepal wants China and India to contribute to stability and development in the world.
