Kathmandu: People coming to Nepal from abroad will be kept in quarantine for 14 days.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam informed that he has written to the Corona Crisis Management Center (CCMC) to keep all those coming to Nepal by land or air in quarantine for 14 days.
He said only those who showed symptoms during the quarantine stay would be tested.
Earlier, the government used to keep a person coming to Nepal from abroad in quarantine for 14 days, but it was not implemented recently.
But now that the risk of infection is rising again, the government is tightening its policy of quarantining foreigners.
