Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has introduced subsidized airfares for Nepali migrant workers traveling to key labor destinations in the Gulf.
In a statement issued on Friday, the national flag carrier said migrant workers flying on NAC routes to Dammam, Doha, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur will receive a 10 percent discount on airfare. The discount will apply to 10 seats on every flight to these destinations.
According to NAC, eligible passengers can access the subsidized tickets through the airline’s ticket counters in Nepal by submitting the required documents. The initiative aims to provide financial relief and travel convenience to Nepali workers heading abroad for employment.
