Kathmandu: The price of gold soared to an unprecedented level in the domestic market on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations. Gold prices surged by Rs 2,200 per tola, now trading at Rs 170,700 per tola, up from Rs 168,500 per tola on Tuesday.
In addition to gold, the price of silver also experienced a rise, increasing by Rs 15 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs 2,120 per tola, compared to Rs 2,105 per tola the previous day.
This spike in precious metal prices marks a significant moment in the market, reflecting ongoing economic trends and demand.
