Kathmandu: Bhupadev Shah, private secretary to Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balen, confirmed that a Facebook status featuring a photo of UML Lumbini Province Assembly Member Rekha Sharma was recently taken down from the Mayor’s official page.
The removal followed Facebook’s designation of the post as a violation of its Community Guidelines.
Shah explained, “The status included a photo of Sharma and was removed after being flagged by Facebook. The platform is currently reviewing the situation, and we are hopeful for its restoration.”
