Search continues for missing buses and passengers in Trishuli River incident

Kathmandu: The search for two buses and their passengers that plunged into the Trishuli River entered its fourth day today, as authorities continue efforts to locate those missing.

Last Friday, the tragic incident occurred when two buses, carrying passengers, fell into the Trishuli River following a landslide at Simaltal along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section. The search and rescue operation resumed at 7 AM this morning.

The District Administration Office in Chitwan confirmed that every available resource is being deployed in the search operation. Assistant Chief District Officer Khimanand Bhusal reported that divers have been actively involved in the search since morning, hopeful for a positive outcome.
