Kathmandu: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced plans to host the Nepal Premier League (NPL) in November-December this year. However, the exact dates for the tournament have not been disclosed.
In its meeting held on Thursday, CAN also decided to form a three-member committee led by the General Manager to establish criteria for the coordinator and members of the national selection committee. The committee will include the Cricket Operations Manager and the Chief Financial Officer.
CAN Secretary Paras Khadka shared that the meeting decided to renovate and upgrade the pitch at the TU cricket ground, expand and equip the existing gym hall with necessary equipment, and enhance the overall facility with fencing and proper drainage systems.
Furthermore, Khadka informed that upon receiving the budget from the International Cricket Council (ICC), CAN will construct indoor training centers in all seven provinces.
