Kathmandu: Nepal has improved its position by three places in the latest FIFA world rankings. According to FIFA’s latest release on global football rankings for men, Nepal has moved up to the 175th position. Previously, Nepal held the 178th position.
In the joint qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup 2027, Nepal recently played a 2-2 draw against Yemen in the second round of matches.
At the top of the rankings, Argentina maintains its leading position, followed by France in second place, Belgium in third, Brazil in fourth, and England in fifth. Portugal, Netherlands, Spain, Croatia, and Italy complete the top 10.
