Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has banned all helicopter flights of Simrik Air.
This ban was imposed after Simrik’s helicopter crashed in the Bhotkhola rural municipality of the Sankhuwasabha district on Friday.
After the helicopter crashed during the transportation of goods, the flight of Simrik’s helicopter has been suspended until the further notice.
The authority has started an investigation into whether or not Simrik followed the air safety standards during the flight.
