Kathmandu: For the first time, two companies have received the permission to operate flying school in Nepal aiming at producing pilots here.
According to the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, Shubham Aviation Pvt Ltd and Chandra Surya Aviation Pvt Ltd have received permission to establish a flying school.
Minister Kirati informed that two schools, which have been stalled in the ministry for years, have been given licenses by making necessary amendments to the procedures.
Currently, there is no pilot production organization in Nepal. Nepalis have to go to countries like Philippines and America to complete the pilot course.
