Kathmandu: The police have started an investigation into the citizenship debate of Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
A complaint was lodged with the Ministry of Home Affairs, demanding investigation and action, saying that Lamichhane submitted his revoked citizenship and became a candidate for the House of Representatives from Chitwan 2.
In that order, the Ministry has written a letter to the District Administration Office of Kathmandu and the administration office has written a letter to Kathmandu District Police saying that there are issues that need to be investigated.
