Kathmandu: Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) is holding a calibration flight on Thursday to test the localizer. According to the airport, a localizer (a part of the ILS) has recently been added towards the end of the runway.
Aero Thai is about to conduct a calibration flight to test the same equipment. According to the airport management landing at the airport will be easy after installing the localizer. Flights on Thursday is likely to be affected due to calibration.
