Kathmandu: Nepal is going to observe three days of mourning for the death of British Queen Elizabeth II.
Expressing grief over the passing away of the British Queen, the cabinet meeting held today on Friday decided to celebrate three days of mourning in her honour.
The meeting presided over by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba decided to mourn for three days.
The meeting also decided to fly the national flag at half-mast in government offices, Nepalese embassies and missions abroad for three days.
British Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96 on Thursday night at Balmoral Palace in Scotland .
