Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 805 people across the country in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 667 people tested positive out of 7,264 PCR samples and 138 tested positive out of 3,408 antigen samples.
In the last 24 hours, eight people have died and 911 have recovered from the corona infection. With the new additions, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 893,072.
So far, 11,200 people have died from the corona infection and 773,140 have been recovered from the infection.
Of the active infected people across the country, 14,728 are in home isolation. Similarly, 1,214 people are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 329 are being treated in the ICU and 112 in the ventilator, the ministry said.
