614,148 tourists arrives Nepal in 2022

Kathmandu: A total of 614,148 tourists have come to Nepal in 2022. It is 51.29 percent more than in 2019, since the beginning of the covid-19 epidemic in Nepal.

According to the Nepal Tourism Board, in the last one year, 614,148 foreign tourists entered in one year. Which is 309.75 percent more than 2021 and 166.92 percent more than 2020.

The year 2022 saw the highest number of Indian tourists. According to the board, 209,105 Indians have come to Nepal. Americans are second. 77,009 Americans have come to Nepal.
The British are in third place. According to the board, 44,781 tourists came to Nepal from Britain. 26,874 people came from Australia. 25,384 tourists have come from Bangladesh.
