5 people arrested for selling street children’s kidneys

Kathmandu: The police have arrested five people on the charge of stealing the kidneys of street children and selling them.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the police arrested Dhan Bahadur Roka of Ramechhap, Vijay Kunwar of Gulmi, Dhupendra Shahi and Bimal Bahadur Shahi of Dailekh and Ashish Tamang of Jhapa.

According to the police, it was found that they lured the street children of Kathmandu and took their kidneys to India.

CIB said that further investigations regarding such networks are underway.
