Kathmandu: Nepal Police apprehended five Bangladeshi individuals who were found to be residing in the country illegally, despite the expiration of their visas.
The individuals, identified as Md Rifat Ahamed (26), Md Abdullah (23), Md Samsual Hoda (45), Abdul Biswas (30), and Md Masum Miah (36), were disclosed by Superintendent of Police Nakul Pokharel from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office.
Acting on information suggesting their unlawful presence and involvement in questionable activities, the authorities arrested them from Sorakhutte. Biswas and Miah were apprehended on March 22, while the remaining three were detained on Monday.
Following their arrest, the Bangladeshi nationals were handed over to the Department of Immigration in Kalikasthan for further investigation and necessary legal proceedings.
