Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 4,522 people in the last 24 hours. The PCR test on 12,204 people confirmed the infection in 3,703 people and the antigen test in 4,709 people confirmed the infection in 819 people.
The Ministry of Health and Population, on the other hand, said that the number of infected people has increased due to the results of the test conducted at Dhaulagiri Hospital in Baglung.
In the last 24 hours, 41 people have died and 4,954 have been cured.
The total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 626,343. Of them, 564,882 have been cured so far and 8,813 have died.
According to the ministry, the number of actively infected people in the country is 52,648. Out of which 49,425 are in home isolation and 3,223 are in institutional isolation. Of the infected, 761 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 218 are in the ventilator.
