4 killed, 7 injured in Sindhuli jeep accident

Kathmandu: Four people have been killed and seven others injured in a jeep accident in Sindhuli district.

According to District Police Office, Sindhuli, four persons died on the spot when a jeep (Ba 17 Cha 1117) fell 50 meters from the road at Kamalamai Municipality-7, Karangdanda at around 4.15 pm.

The deceased have been identified as Rudra Bahadur Thapa, 60, Rita Ismali, 18, Durga Shrestha, 19, and her son Manish Shrestha, 2, of Kamalamai Municipality, Banskot.

All the injured including driver Bhoj Bikram Thapa have been brought to District Hospital, Sindhuli. The jeep heading towards Banskot from Sindhulimadi, the district headquarters of Sindhuli, overturned uncontrollably. There were 11 passengers in the jeep.
