Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 3,218 people have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the PCR test of 8,866 people confirmed the infection in 2,231 people and 4,707 antigen tests tested positive for 987 people.
In the last 24 hours, 19 people have died due to corona infection and the number of those who have been recovered is 1,722.
So far, the number of corona-infected people in Nepal has reached 712,740. Of them, 667,270 have been cured and the number of active infected has reached 35,432.
Out of which 32,027 are in home isolation and 3,405 are in institutional isolation. Similarly, 10,038 people have died due to corona infection.
In the last 24 hours, 920 infected people have been found in Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 593 have been found infected in Kathmandu, 189 in Lalitpur and 138 in Bhaktapur.
