2,476 infected 27 people died in last 24 hours

Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 2,476 people in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 9,586 samples were tested for PCR of which 1,721 and among 4,765 antigen test, 755 were tested positive with the corona virus.

Meanwhile, another 27 people have died from corona infection in the last 24 hours. Similarly, 5,455 people have been cured. According to the ministry, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has now reached 631,152. Of them, 8,945 people have died and 576,413 have been recovered so far.

At present, out of 45,794 active infected people across the country, 42,910 are in home isolation. There are 2,884 people in such institutional isolation. Of them, 714 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 201 in the ventilator.
