211 foreign nationals deported in last 8 months

Kathmandu: In the first eight months of the current fiscal year, Nepal has deported 211 foreign nationals.

According to the Department of Immigration, foreign nationals living in Nepal till the expiration of their visa and involved in various criminal activities have been deported from Nepal.

According to the department, 13 foreign nationals have been deported in March alone. Meanwhile, the department has issued visas to a total of 125,658 people to come to Nepal during this period. Nepal has welcomed foreign nationals through 13 different types of visas.

The number of foreign nationals coming on tourist visa is 113,627.
