15-member cricket national team announced to visit UAE

Kathmandu: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the 15-member team for the tri-nation ODI series to be held in the UAE next week under the ICC World Cup Cricket League-2.

CAN has announced the names of the team members who will visit the UAE. Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane is not included in the team though.

Can sought permission from the National Sports Council for Sandeep but was refused. 

The Nepali team will play against the domestic team and Papua New Guinea in the UAE. 

Nepal will begin their tour by playing against Papua New Guinea on February 15. Nepal will play against the home team on February 18.

Nepal will play the third match against Papua New Guinea on February 19 and will play the home team UAE on February 22 in the last match of the tour.

Nepali team includes Rohitkumar Paudel, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Gyanendra Malla, Kushal Malla, Dipendrasinh Airey, Sandeep Jora, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Lalit Rajvanshi, Gulshan Jha, Bhim Sarki, Arif Sheikh, Pratish Jisi and Mausam Dhakal and others.
