Kathmandu: Thirteen people, including two Indians, have been arrested for scamming American and Canadian nationals in the name of call center. They have been arrested by the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police.
Among the arrested are Bijay Shrestha, Chief Operator of Orbit Nexus Pvt.
Similarly, Amin Khadka of Ranibari, Kathmandu, Karan Gurung of Lamjung, , Anoj Lama of Kavre, Aarushi Rai of Udaipur, Yuvina Tamang of Baniyantar of Kathmandu have been arrested.
Likewise, Aras Tuladhar of Ranibari, Kathmandu, Sapna Magarati of Dolakha, Tika Raut of Surkhet, Sunita Raut of Jhapa and Sagar Shrestha of Nuwakot were also arrested.
They have been sending misleading messages targeting foreign nationals to obtain their bank details, personal details and forging them.
